Hardness - Hardness + Diameter - 71mm to 76mm Weight - 680g to 730g (in increments of 10) Engraving options - 1 to 15 characters on either pattern, stylised on pattern 0 Obut have introduced a new hardness known as hardness +. This is one of the boules in that range. This boule has the performance of a very soft boule (absorbs shocks brilliantly and therefore doesn't rebound much) which is perfect for shooters. However it only has the wear rate normally associated with a semi-soft boule. One of its other unique attributes is that it has an incredibly weak bounce (even less bounce than soft boule). This is great for shooters as you are less likely to bounce over your opponent's boule if you shoot and land just in front of it. The lack of bounce is also very useful for pointers who have a high lob style. These boules have a lovely black Satin finish on soft shot-peening (which wears down with use) which give a nice grip. These boules conform to the official rules. They show the weight and an identification number. They are guaranteed for 3 years against defects (due to the manufacturing process). General boule wear or fading of colour are not considered manufacturing defects. |
