The MS Elite is a very unique petanque boule with it's black Matt finish, which gives a wonderful feel in the hand. MS describe the Elite as being a "big pleasure" to play with, and it's very hard to argue with that.
Although it is actually a stainless steel boule you could be forgiven for thinking that it is carbon steel boule, which is what the special Matt finish makes it feel like. For those who value the durability of a stainless steel boule, but prefer a carbon steel feel this boule could have been custom made for you.
The special surface treatment (which is environmentally friendly) helps preserve the boule's Matt black appearance, which is a great feature. Your boules will stand out in the head for much longer than other black boules on the market today.
Each shell is individually controlled to ensure high quality balancing. The diameter of each boule is precisely controlled with a tolerance of + or - 1 gram. The difference in weight between each of your 3 boules will be 1 gram maximum.
The Elite boule is semi-soft with a hardness of 115kg/mm2. Like many of MS Petanque's boules the Elite features MS's exclusive anti-rebound technology (Technologie MS). So you can expect a good shooting performance combined with good levels of durability.
This is boule that would be suitable in particular for a player who values the feel of a petanque boule above anything else. There are not many boules out there that can rival the Elite for feel.
It would also be the ultimate choice for a middle player who likes to do a bit of everything.

They are guaranteed for 2 years against defects (due to the manufacturing process). General boule wear or fading of colour are not considered manufacturing defects.
